Dog Training

Initial Consultation/Training Session:

Available: Monday-Saturday (during day and evening times)

Location: At your home, or other pre-agreed upon place (for example, a dog park).

Cost: $150 for 1 to 1.5 hours

Includes: A behavior assessment, going over the basics of how dogs learn, how the training process works, and beginning to train new behaviors right away. This also includes a follow-up plan for each individual dog, as well as additional help by phone and email during our time working together.

After the initial consultation/training session, training can proceed with follow-up sessions as needed.

Follow-Up Training Sessions:

Available: Monday-Saturday (during day and evening times)

Location: At your home, or other pre-agreed upon place.

Cost: $100 for 1 hour training session, or $450 for 5 one-hour training sessions.

Includes: Continuation of training for your dog’s individual needs and goals.

Online Dog Training Classes:

Our classes are available through Dog Training Plus.

Payment:

• Payment is due prior to services being rendered. We accept credit/debit cards or Paypal on our website, and can accept cash or check in-person.

Discount:

• SPCA of Wake County adopted pets are entitled to a 20% discount on select services (Initial consultation/behavior evaluations) as part of the SPCA’s Pet Behavior Network.

Service availability:

• In-person dog training services are available in North Carolina: Wake County, Apex, Cary, Raleigh, Holly Springs, Garner, Durham, Chapel Hill and nearby locations.
